Lifeline service

Lifeline is a government assistance program; the service is non-transferable, only eligible consumers may enroll, and only one Lifeline discount is allowed per household. Willfully false statements to obtain the benefit can be punished by fine or imprisonment or can lead to being barred from the program.

Usage requirement

Free Lifeline service must be used at least once every 30 days. If not, we'll send a notice and you'll have 15 days to use the service before de-enrollment.

Recertification

You must recertify your eligibility annually and notify us within 30 days if you no longer qualify or move.

Devices

Devices are offered by iPhone Government to eligible enrollees subject to availability, state rules and inventory. Devices may be certified pre-owned. Upgrade models may require a one-time co-pay disclosed before purchase. Devices may be locked to our network for 60 days.

Data

Plans include unlimited data with a monthly high-speed allotment that varies by state; speeds are reduced after the allotment. Network management practices may apply.
