Which free tablets can I get?

Tablet availability varies by state and inventory:

8-inch Android Tablet: light, simple and great for kids
Apple iPad: upgrade offer where available
Phone + Tablet Combo: both devices with one enrollment

What happened to ACP tablets?

The ACP gave eligible households a one-time discount of up to $100 on a laptop, desktop or tablet. It stopped accepting new applications in February 2024 and ended in June 2024 when funding ran out. Lifeline is permanent and continues, but it covers service, not devices. Device offers come from providers.

Can I get a free tablet with EBT?

Yes. Having an EBT card usually means you receive SNAP, which qualifies you for Lifeline. See our full guide: Free Tablet With EBT.
